Simple experiences,lasting impressions.
Great experiences begin with understanding people.
I'm Quentin, a Senior HMI UX/UI Designer. Most of my work today is automotive, but I've also designed for mobile and VR. What interests me is how people interact with a machine, and how that changes with the situation.
For me, product discovery starts with the need behind a request. UX research and prototype tests help me understand what people actually do. That shapes the UX strategy: what to explore, what to simplify, and what still needs validation.
More than pixels …
I actually started out in game design: 2D, 3D, VR, touch, voice, physical controls… you name it. Along the way, I realised the interaction interested me more than the medium. That's how I found my way into HMI.
In a car, the road comes first. On a mobile, the screen can be the focus. I enjoy figuring out what feels natural in each situation.
I've spent five years working with Renault through RCD Except. My work covers UX architecture, wireframes, prototypes and vehicle-specific UI. For over three years, I represented the Design Studio in Multimedia Squads. I also lead workshops with engineering, ergonomics, product, marketing and development teams. Start with a clear user problem, explore together, then test and improve.
I also own platform evolution and production delivery across software releases. That includes design systems, new components, interface implementation, assets and tokens. Teams come to me with questions across several infotainment generations. Quite a different playground from game design, but the curiosity is still the same!
